Core Skills is comprised of comprehensive instruction and exercises on foundation building courses for fields such as manufacturing, engineering, and quality. Â Refer to the Course tab for a complete list of courses.

Upon completion of each module the student with be required toÂ demonstrate knowledge comprehension and learned skills through interactive exercises and online testing. Â

Badges are awarded to each successfully completed course with an average grade of 80%. Â Upon successful completion of all courses at 80%, or greater a Certificate of completion will be awarded.

All courses in the Core Skills Class are aligned to NIMS credential tests in the NIMS Level I Certification.

Core Skills is a prerequisite to more advanced Classes such as CAD, CNC machining, CAM, Advanced machining and Inspection.
